Description:

Responsible for learning the Facilities and Food Management business through a series of objectives, projects, learning events, exposure, and assignments. Purpose is to understand the operational and human resource responsibilities for multiple service account. Conducts research on the market and competitive landscape.

Responsible for implementing strategies and policies relating to the management of human contributions to organizational success. Will lead and influence in matrix-organized, cross-functional teams, through collaboration with stakeholders, to optimize resources and promote focus, accountability, performance, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness. The individual will be responsible for job specific activities and additional activities, but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position is also responsible for ensuring that all employment and training documents are completed and available for review upon inspection by the Hospital or outside agency.
  • Develop and be accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt.
  • Assess training needs of staff and work with operations and HR team to develop to address training gaps.
  • Provide support and assistance to the operations and HR team to identify and report market trends, potential new technologies, leading edge practices, database and systems that increase market differential.
  • Assist and development of databases to manage, evaluate and forecast talent and or programs.
  • Assist in coordinating the activities of employees in service areas to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of staff, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all Aramark policies and local, state, and federal government regulations.
  • Obtain technical skills and knowledge of equipment related to operations.
  • Oversees training program.
  • Keeps management informed of new trends and developments.
  • Responds to the requests of the on-site leadership team.
  • Partner effectively with leadership team to implement and lead programs/projects through a multi-layered, decentralized organization.
  • Effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others without formal authority.
  • Facilitate and participate in discussions and gain exposure with numerous constituents


Qualifications:
  • Must be a forward thinker capable of developing and articulating clear, compelling instruction and results.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field OR equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in related field.
  • Must have an ability to manage multiple projects and or assignments in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services.
